12th Annual WBEC-West Conference Focuses On Women In Business Enterprises
July 13, 2015 – – WBEC-West, a business in Mesa, AZ will be holding their 12th annual WBEC-West conference on September, 15 and September, 17, 2015. This year, the Women Business Enterprise Council West will focus specifically on women in business enterprises, promoting women owned business certifications. This should encourage more women to be empowered to start their own enterprises and recognize the tremendous contributions they make to the world of business.
“Our vision is to build a world where women business enterprises are a cornerstone of America’s business success,” says Pamela Williamson, Ph.D. from WBEC-West. “We want to achieve this by cultivating sustainable relationships between certified women business enterprises and corporate America through certification, education and targeted networking. Our annual event is just one of the ways we aim to do this.”
The conference will be held at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Santa Barbara, CA. It will be both an award dinner and a strategic procurement opportunity conference. The previous eleven conferences have been incredibly successful and the number of attendants, sponsors and participating corporations is growing each year. Slowly but surely, it seems WBEC-West is realizing its vision of ensuring women’s efforts are recognized across corporate America as much as men’s efforts are.
Attendess of this years confernce will be able to take part in industry specific workshops, strategic mini connections, business matchmaking sessions with both prime and corporate members, and informal networking and targeted networking with other women owned businesses.
