1st Capital Bank Announces: Steven Martin as Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Administrator
MONTEREY, CA / ACCESSWIRE / May 13, 2015 / 1st Capital Bank (OTC: FISB) (“Bank”) announced the appointment of Steven Martin as Senior Vice President and Senior Credit Administrator. In this role, Mr. Martin is responsible for serving as a resource to the Bank’s lending team and clients, while also supporting the Chief Credit Officer in managing the Bank’s credit profile and related risk management.
Mr. Martin has over 30 years of lending, credit, and management experience at national and community banks serving clients throughout the Central Coast, with a particular focus in Monterey County. Throughout his career he has held various positions including Relationship Manager, Special Assets Officer, Loan Administrator, and Regional Manager. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Science from the University of California, Davis; and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and his MBA with a concentration in Finance from Golden Gate University.
Mr. Martin has been involved with many local community organizations over the years, including the Salinas Jaycees, the San Luis Obispo de Telosa Rotary, the Paso Robles Rotary, the Monterey County Food Bank, the Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Neonatal Donation Drive Board, and St. Ansgar’s Lutheran Church.
