1st VW Parts Announces Capability To Deliver Genuine Volkswagen Auto Parts
May 12, 2015 – – Various vehicle manufacturers are having to do recalls as a result of safety concerns. As a result, many vehicle owners are looking at replacing the potentially unsafe parts. 1st VW Parts has announced that they are fully capable of delivering all the compliant VW Auto Parts that are needed, with which any safety concerns can be addressed. The company hopes to be able to reach a wider audience of VW owners who require new parts.
“We have tools in place to make sure people receive the parts that they actually need for their vehicle,” says Zeb Foster from 1st VW Parts. “Being safe in a vehicle is the most important thing, as any road user carries responsibility not just for themselves and their passengers, but also for all the other road users. All of our parts are completely compliant and will not lead to any type of safety concerns.”
One of the methods the company employs in order to ensure the right parts are provided at all times is by always requesting the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of a vehicle for which they will supply a part. They have also provided easy instructions on where to locate the VIN number. In so doing, they can ensure that the part that is ordered is actually suitable for the specific vehicle in question.
“Our website is fully comprehensive and lists all the different VW auto parts and accessories that someone may be looking for,” adds Matt Welch. “We also offer a chat function for those who have difficulty in navigating the website. Alternatively, we can be reached on the phone.”
The number of recalls for Volkswagen, in particular, have been significant since last year. Some 25,000 Jettas were recalled due to a low beam issue with the headlights. Other Jettas and Beetles were recalled over potential issues with the suspension. 150,000 Tiguan models have been recalled due to fuel bubbles and 18,000 Routan minivans had issues with the ignition switch. Then, the NA Golf and GTI had problems with steering, and 26,000 VWs across different models in the 1.8T engine range also had some difficulties. The list goes on and on and it has been estimated that over 544 different recalls have been made, affecting some 52 million vehicles. Indeed, this has even led to widespread protests in China, where it was felt that Volkswagen was not being entirely forthcoming about the significance of a particular issue with the rear suspension. According to the Chinese public, this problem could have caused various other parts to shatter and these parts would not be covered by the 10 year suspension warranty.
Clearly, Volkswagen owners are feeling nervous and for good reason. There have also been numerous reports of companies trying to make a quick buck out of these issues by selling replacement parts that don’t meet the standards, leaving a vehicle unsafe.
