Phoenix Lawyer Jeffrey Phillips Represents Manuel Baca, Sr.

February 10, 2016 – – Phillips Law, a law firm with headquarters in Phoenix, AZ, has announced that they are representing Manuel Baca, Sr., a gentleman who was injured in a vehicle collision that was not his fault. He suffered injuries during a crash in Phoenix at around 5am in the morning. The driver of the other vehicle was found to be responsible for the accident and police recommended that she be charged with aggravated assault because they suspect that she was intoxicated at that time. A copy of the police report can be found at https://infinit.io/_/yxr5CLx.

Jeffrey Phillips from Phillips Law says: “Our client was quite seriously injured during the crash, suffering several fractured bones. This has led to him being unable to engage in his normal duties, including work, as well as to suffer significant pain. Our client was not at fault in this case, and the other driver was intoxicated. We will do all we can to ensure Mr. Baca will receive the compensation he deserves.”

A woman who is believed to have been intoxicated was seen to be driving at speeds of around 80 mph. She rear-ended Mr. Baca’s vehicle, pushing him into another vehicle. This vehicle subsequently hit a tree, and the cars ended up on top of each other. Mr. Baca was found trapped in his vehicle when the police arrived at the scene.

Both Mr. Baca and the driver who caused the accident were hospitalized. Neither suffered life threatening injuries, but the former did suffer from a number of broken bones. The driver of the other vehicle accepted full responsibility for the event. She was found to be speeding, suspected of being intoxicated and was driving on a suspended license. She will be charged with aggravated assault in a criminal court.

Jeffrey Phillips said: “This is a clear example of why it is so important to not drink and drive. The perpetrator was not only intoxicated, but found not to have a license either. She denied driving at speed and stated that, while she was aware that her license was suspended, she needed to get home. The consequence of this behavior is that our client has experienced significant pain and suffering, as well as disruption in his day to day life.”
