Scan Recipes Mobile App is Launched by American Developer Brian Whyte

The New App Lets Users Keep Track of the Ingredients that They Have on Hand and Find Recipes they Can Make with the Ingredients

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / March 7, 2016 / American developer Brian Whyte is pleased to announce the launch of his new mobile app, Scan Recipes. The app, which is available to download for iOS phones through the App store, lets users either scan the barcode of the different ingredients that they have in their refrigerators and pantries, or they can enter the food name manually to populate a list.

As Whyte noted, people can then use the list to keep track of the ingredients they have on hand, find new recipes that they can make with these ingredients and save their favorite ones. If they wish, users can also share recipes with friends and family members, whether it’s through text, email or social media. To learn more about the innovative new iOS app, people may like it on Facebook or check out the Scan Recipes Inc. website.

As a bonus, Whyte said, the Scan Recipes app is extremely easy to use. For example, to find a specific recipe, users just need to scroll through the results to find a new one that they would like to save, make and share with others.

“Simply click on the star to save it into your favorites list, the arrow to view the directions and the button with a box and up arrow to share it with people,” Whyte said.

Whyte said he was inspired to create the cooking app because the idea of being able to find recipes using ingredients that were on hand was important to him. While he admits that he is not the best cook in the world, Whyte is interested in learning to prepare new types of meals.

After coming up with the idea for the ingredients and recipe app, Whyte knew he needed help turning his dream into reality. He teamed up for the development of the project with Zapporoo to transform the idea for Scan Recipes into a marketing platform. The app, which was successfully developed by Zapporoo is now available for people to download and use.
