Double Digit Organic Revenue Growth

Accelerize’s revenue reached $21.4 million during 2015, which represents a 30% year-over-year increase with record monthly recurring license revenue. These revenues come from the combination of a monthly license fee, a usage fee, and training and implementation fees.

While the company reported an operating loss of $6.1 million in 2015, management began several strategic streamlining initiatives beginning in the third quarter to selectively reduce costs and enhance profitability while maintaining solid growth. Fourth quarter operating losses narrowed to $667,000 compared to $2.1 million in the previous quarter. The company’s cash flow burn decreased from $2.6 million to $2.1 million year-over-year.

The company continues to diversify its revenue base outside of the United States with 29% of its overall revenue coming from international sources last year. In fact, CAKE reported a 52% year-over-year increase in the number of customers serviced from outside the U.S. with customers in more than 30 countries. More than 60 new clients were added from the EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions last year alone with other markets in the works.

CAKE Connect Opens Door to Enterprise

Accelerize’s CAKE platform takes the guesswork out of how companies can make the most out of their digital advertising dollars by enabling them to easily track the real-time results of their marketing efforts across search, affiliate, social, mobile, video, and other channels. In order to do so, the company has had to connect its platform with a dizzying array of other platforms and systems to enable its customers to insource the management of digital marketing efforts.

After completing an integration with IBM’s Universal Behavior Exchange in late-2015, the company announced a technical integration with Facebook Lead Ads to support a new ad type that enables customers to easily submit their information to businesses. The CAKE platform also integrates with Neo@Ogilvy, Marketo, Google, Forensiq, and Bing, while complementing solutions from Oracle, Salesforce, and many other enterprise marketing platforms.

Since the beginning of the year, the company has announced a series of new customer additions and partnerships for the CAKE platform. Leads generated on the Velocify platform are now validated by CAKE before being sent to Velocify’s sales acceleration platform that enables sales reps to quickly respond to more leads. Pointific also announced that it used the CAKE platform to accelerate its growth by more than 100% last year alone.

In addition, management hopes to achieve a positive cash flow during the first quarter of the year to put the business on solid financial footing. The CAKE platform has also been recognized as a Vendor to Watch by the 2016 Gartner Magic Quadrant, as the company continues to add new enterprise clients and grow revenue.
