Ginger Beer & Mule Making Kit from Bootleg Botanicals Officially Hits the Market
The Kits Allow Beer Lovers to Handcraft Their Own Organic, Gluten Free, Non-GMO, Vegan Friendly Ginger Beer
LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / March 25, 2016 / Bootleg Botanicals is proud to announce their Ginger Beer & Mule Making Kit. The kit is comprised of all the tools necessary to make ginger beer from home.
Believed to first be brewed in Yorkshire, England during the 18th century; ginger beer is a marriage of ginger, sugar and spice. It gained traction with the advent of the Moscow Mule in the 1940’s, and today it has achieved worldwide popularity.
There are a variety of mass produced ginger beers to choose from, but discerning connoisseursare going at it alone, brewing beers they can have full control over in both taste and alcoholic content.
Ryan and Melanie Belshee are the creators of the Bootleg Botanicals Ginger Beer & Mule Making Kit, and they crafted their recipe through months of trial and error.
“During the development of our Ginger Beer brew, we had the pleasure of tasting many of the commercial Ginger Beers currently available in our area,” says Ryan and Melanie. “We personally enjoyed the balance of Bunderburg, the refreshing Ginger taste of Cock N’ Bull, and the bite of Fever Tree. In that vein, we did our best to marry all the aspects we liked into one recipe that can stand alone or hold its own when mixed with another spirit.”
Eventually they arrived at the right balance, with their ginger beer containing a simple blend of ginger root, coriander, lemon and lime peel.
The mule making kit was designed to give home brewers the opportunity to replicate their proprietary recipe whenever they’d like; or, to adjust it to their own palette.
The kit comes with a one gallon fermentation jug, double bubble airlock, rubber bung, racking cane, 3 feet of NSF tubing, embroidered mesh brew bag, organic spices, sugar and brewing yeast. Also included are two 100% pure copper mugs made bygenerations-old copper artisans in India.
Ryan and Melanie have taken their ginger beer making kit to Kickstarter where they have already raised over $22,000 of their $30,000 goal. They have put together different packages for their donators, the most popular consisting of the full home brewing kit and hand crafted copper mugs.
