Phoenix, Arizona, United States – April 4, 2016 /MarketersMedia/

Roland Dickey, Jr. is one of the most dynamic CEO’s in the fast casual food industry, taking his grandfather’s company from two hundred to over five hundred locations in ten years. This is because he takes seriously his responsibility to mentor and support franchisees, and even now still carefully selects business partners who share the brand’s family values and love of slow smoked Texas barbecue. Now, the franchise is about to open ten new locations throughout Arizona, doubling the Dickey’s presence in the state.

The first of the restaurants will open in Surprise, northwest of Phoenix, in 2016, with two stores opening per year for the next five years. This agreement marks one of the largest Dickey’s Barbecue Franchise agreements for Dickey’s, and has been struck with two of its youngest ever Owner/Operators.

Owner/Operators and siblings Tiffany Oder and Chad Burge come from a family of franchisees. Only 25 years old, Oder obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Arizona State University before embarking on her career as an entrepreneur. Her brother Chad is still in college and plans to join the family business as a co-owner.
“We are excited to meet our fellow franchisees and grow with the Dickey’s brand,” Oder says. “We knew as soon as we first tried the food that we wanted to invest in Dickey’s. We are excited to serve high-quality, Texas-style barbecue to our home state while being a part of an energetic, growing brand.”

The two will get business development and management support from Dickey’s famed franchisee professional development program, as well as advice and guidance from the CEO himself in their strategic expansion.

“We look forward to continuing to expand our brand presence throughout Arizona,” says Roland Dickey, Jr., CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “This development agreement will double our locations in The Grand Canyon State, and we congratulate Tiffany and Chad on their new endeavor. It’s an exciting time for them and for us, and we are confident we have made the right decision in trusting this dynamic duo to follow the roadmap to success that has worked so well nationally within the state of Arizona.”
