Grand Canyon Rafting Company, Colorado River Discovery, Announces Official Launch of Electric Raft on Earth Day

The official launch will take place on April 22nd, 2016

PAGE, AZ / ACCESSWIRE / April 4, 2016 / Grand Canyon rafting company, Colorado River Discovery, announced today that they will be unveiling their new electric raft on Earth Day, April 22nd, 2016. The electric raft will be the first ever electric raft to float on the Colorado River.

The release of the electric raft is part of an ongoing effort to support a green, sustainable river habitat. Up until now, Colorado River Discovery has used gas powered motors on their rafts, and while they have made every effort to do so in a clean and environmentally friendly way, they’re thrilled to be able to take their efforts to the next level. Earth day marks the inaugural release of that commitment, and they hope it is the first of many electric rafts to be used for Colorado River Rafting.

CRD knows that being “green police” is the fastest way to push people away from their ideas and teachings, so they offer education first, and consequently most people are eager to participate.
