Three percent of the responses said “very easy,” while 29 percent said “somewhat easy.” Nearly half, 49 percent, said “somewhat difficult,” while 16 percent said “very difficult,” and another three percent said, “I don’t know.”

More than half of all respondents said there was some sort of difficulty in recruiting and filling positions, “very difficult” or “somewhat difficult” (65 percent), in this survey than in any of the four hiring trends surveys conducted by Express in 2015. This increase in reported difficulty coincides with the decrease in the unemployment rate.
