Express Employment Professionals in Miami Lakes Bands Together in a Nationwide Effort to Fight Hunger

June 08, 2016 – – Miami Lakes, FL, June 8, 2016—Express Employment Professionals of Miami Lakes, FL, one of the largest employment agencies in Miami Lakes, FL, is setting aside a day of volunteerism known as “Brand It Blue Day.”

On Saturday, June 11th, the associates, clients, and friends of numerous Express Employment Professionals offices will partner together at their local food banks and pantries to fight against hunger – an international crisis that continues to impact millions of people around the world.

Starting now until June 11th, the Express office in Miami Lakes will be hosting a food drive at its office, located at 16010 Northwest 57th Avenue, Suite 114, where people will be able to drop off non-perishable food. On June 11th, the team will gather all the food and take it to the Feeding South Florida Food Bank in Pembroke Park, as well as volunteer from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.

“We have a lot of excited people to come in and help,” said Lisa Hernandez. “This year, Brand It Blue is going to be a success.”

Last year, more than 225 Express Employment Professionals offices participated in Brand It Blue Day. In the past four years, in addition to those Express offices, 1,500 volunteers have donated their time and resources and provided more than 156,000 meals to local food banks and charitable organization.
