June 11, 2016 – – LipsigLawyers.com’s attorney Thomas Moverman responded to the recent incident that occurred on Texas A&M’s campus on May 13th. Moverman wished the victim a speedy recovery and applauded local Emergency Medical Services, which included the College Park Fire Department along with Texas A&M University Police, for rescuing the worker from the trench through the use of special equipment.

KBTX’s report indicates that the accident occurred around 1:40 PM near the Texas A&M Veterinary Medicine Teaching and Small Animal expansion project. The report indicates that University Police stated that the man was placing a pipe inside a manhole when the pipe bounced back, striking the man and propelling him into the eight to twelve-foot hole. After the rescuers removed the victim from the trench, he was placed on a stretcher and into an ambulance which went to CHI St. Joseph Hospital. The victim was treated for injuries to his face and his head, the extent of his injuries are still unknown, but the situation was treated as a medical emergency.
