Strive Offers New Affordable Community Home Care Nursing Program for Adults in Greater Vancouver
Strive Living Society has created a new affordable nursing program designed for adults throughout the Lower Mainland, helping to improve quality of life and offer a sense of community.

Strive Living Society, a registered nonprofit in Coquitlam, B.C., is launching a home care service for adults and seniors in all of Greater Vancouver. Strive Community Home Care aspires to improve the quality of life of each client, and enable everyday ease by delivering attentive and compassionate care to their door.
Community Home Care is for any adult requiring assistance in their home. This program is the most affordable home care option available, presenting bespoke quality care that is backed by Strive’s 28 years of experience serving the Lower Mainland.
The services offered include assistance bathing, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living. Screened and qualified staff provide companionship, meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, and banking support. Services can also include leisure, recreation planning, and transportation to and from appointments, as seen on Strive Living’s Facebook Page. Nursing services include wound and foot care, diabetes management, medication reminders, and health monitoring. Soon they will include kinesiology services, such as falls prevention and strength training.
The program offers a complimentary initial consultation, wherein the experienced team will discuss each individual’s needs and offer the best service options to meet those needs. These tailored care plans are developed with each person’s health and preferences in mind. Staff speak a variety of languages including English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Tagalog in order to excel at caring for each individual, no matter their heritage or nationality.
