Awards & Engraving Celebrates 20 Year Partnership With St. Joseph Catholic School

June 17, 2016 – – Awards & Engraving, a business in Baytown, TX, is proud to celebrate its 20 year partnership with St. Joseph Catholic School. The partnership was officially recognized by the Baytown Chamber of Commerce during a large event. More details about the ceremony are available at the Baytown Chamber of Commerce facebook page.

Michelle Bitterly from Awards & Engraving says: “We were so proud to be featured at the 28th Annual Partners in Education & Scholarship Recognition Luncheon this year. Working together with St. Joseph Catholic School for 20 years means that we have had a strong influence in the field of education. After 20 years, we have seen children mature into well-educated adults, and we are incredibly proud of the role we have played in that.”

The event was an opportunity for partnerships to be recognized for their excellent work during the school year. All partnerships that were considered focus on raising awareness of tutoring and mentoring inside the classroom thanks to business representatives, including Awards & Engraving. Various speakers were also in attendance at the event.

The event was sponsored almost fully by businesses, schools, and community members, who all contributed towards the costs of the luncheon. The top sponsor was also recognized during the event, and their name will appear on all communications, materials, and on the Beacon Federal Credit Union’s website.

For Awards & Engraving, the event was an opportunity to showcase the work they do in general, as well as the work that they do together with St. Joseph Catholic School. “The event was amazing and we can’t wait for next year’s luncheon,” adds Michelle Bitterly. “At the same time, it was a chance for us to talk about what we do, and also learn from others who are in similar partnerships. It is wonderful to see how many businesses in the area are committed to improving educational outcomes for students, ensuring that they will become contributing members of society.”

St. Joseph Catholic School and Awards & Engraving aim to continue their partnership for many more years, continuing to build on their successes and being inspired by others.
