Asimos Has Already Posted Several Interesting and Entertaining Videos Related to One of His Favorite Subjects: Wine

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / July 18, 2016 / Mike Asimos, a successful wine importer and exporter, is pleased to announce that he is now part of the Vimeo community. Asimos recently joined Vimeo.com, a popular video sharing website.

As Asimos noted, in addition to posting entertaining videos about wine on the social media site, he also hopes to use video marketing to enhance both his personal website and his work as a wine importer.

One of the videos that Asimos recently posted is already making a splash—pun fully intended—with members of the wine community. Titled Wine Tasting 101 with Mike Asimos, the video features a wine expert who offers helpful advice on how to go about trying a wine for the first time.

As the expert noted, fans of wine need to pay more attention to the first sip, and allow themselves to experience the taste of wine on the tongue. This will help add to the person’s “mental database and sensory checklist” as well as expand his or her wine confidence.

“Also, look at the color of the wine. Put it in front of a white background,” notes the expert in Asimos’ video, adding that this will truly allow the person to get an accurate look at the shades and hues of the wine.

After swirling the glass around—carefully, the expert advises—people can then take a small sip of the wine, to try to assess the flavor and feel of it.

The video also offers helpful explanations about dryness and tannins, and how these can impact the body and flavor of wines.

Asimos said he is already enjoying his time on Vimeo.com. He is looking forward to using the posted videos to help grow his business and interest in his own site.
