The legendary Opera tenor José Carreras will be bringing his acclaimed Final World Tour entitled ‘A Life in Music’ to Australia with three performances taking place in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, in February 2017.

A Life in Music is the Final World Tour by the legendary tenor José Carreras, who marked his return to the Opera stage after eight years in 2014/15 with sold out performances and critical acclaim in the title role of the new opera ‘El Juez’ (The Judge).

The worldwide tour will feature three performances in Australia, all accompanied by the renowned Australian soprano, Antoinette Halloran, including the shows at the Rod Laver Arena, in Melbourne, on February 25th, and at the ICC Sydney Theater, on February 18th, both also featuring the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, along with the concert at the Perth Arena, on February 22nd, with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra.

The Final World Tour has included highly acclaimed performances throughout Europe, Asia and America, including a sold-out show at the Royal Albert Hall in London, and features a personal and intimate selection of the songs that most defined and influenced the legendary tenor’s career and life, including music from the golden age of ‘La Belle Époque’ combined with a broad range of different styles and songs to suit diverse music tastes, from Opera to Operetta and Musicals.
