Circle N Maze Announces Theme For 2016 Event

Drew and Caylin Herley have announced the theme of the 2016 Fall Maze in La Vernia TX. The Circle N Maze theme is “The Headless Horseman”.

Circle N Maze and Drew and Caylin Herley are pleased to announce details about the 2016 Fall event. The event will open on September 24, 2016 to a theme of “The Headless Horseman.” The Fall maze event takes place off Dry Hollow Road, one mile down from Wells Fargo. The Circle N Maze will be operated on the back eighty acres of Circle N Farm. Fifteen acres of the land were planted in June/July and the design was cut into ten acres.

Three maze levels are built into the design, so that even the youngest visitors can enjoy the festivities. There are more than five miles of trail available, making this the largest maze available in the San Antonio area. The Circle N Maze has a pumpkin patch with picture stations and animals to pet. There may even be animals to bottle feed. The Herley family has a goal of creating a family-orientated event to ensure fun and learning about animals and agriculture.

There will be multiple vendors to provide the opportunity to eat and shop. Participants may also bring their own refreshments, although alcohol is banned. This year’s game at the Maze will be “The Farm Monster Mystery”. Participants can enter the maze to find the hidden clues that determine which farm animals has the weapon with the capability of defeating the monster.

A spokesperson for the Circle N Maze explained, “The La Vernia roots go back to 1853 and Charles T. Circle N today is a beef cattle and hay operation run by Laura Herley and Danny Herley. Drew and Caylin Herley are excited to continue the family tradition by bringing Circle N Maze to La Vernia”.

The season begins September 24 and ends November 20. Open hours are Saturdays from 10 am to 9 pm and Sundays from noon to 5 pm. Other times are available by advance appointment.
