Wyldewood Cellars’ Lady Pearl Wine Awarded Gold Medal in International Wine Competition

PECK, KS / ACCESSWIRE / August 15, 2016 / Wyldewood Cellars, Inc., Peck KS, is proud to announce the results of our entries in the Indy International Wine Competition held on August 3rd and 4th, 2016.

A Gold Medal was awarded to our Lady Pearl (which tastes like a Strawberry Moscato and was named after one of our longtime employees).

Silver Medals were awarded for Lady Dulce (which taste like a Moscato); Proprietors Reserve Elderberry (oak aged, dry elderberry wine made in a Cabernet style) and Green Devil (jalapeno wine that tastes like liquid jalapenos).

Bronze Medals were awarded for Red Dirt Rose (Chambourcin blush wine that tastes like White Zinfandel; Mead (Honey Wine); Elderberry Mead (Sweet Elderberry-Honey wine) and Chardonnay (dry white grape citrus tasting wine).

Since its beginning in 1995, Wyldewood Cellars has won over 500 awards in 12 International Wine Competitions and both of its winemakers are Professional International Wine Judges.

Wyldewood Cellars has 3 retail locations (the winery at Exit 33 of I-35, a winery tasting room at Maple and Ridge roads in Wichita, and a winery tasting room at Exit 333 of I-70. An additional winery tasting room will be in Overland Park, KS in early fall.
