Law Student Krisly Zamor Wins 3rd Annual Clark Law Office Scholarship For 2016

Clark Law Office, a personal injury law firm serving the residents of Okemos, Michigan and the surrounding areas, has recently announced the winner for their 3rd Annual Clark Law Office Scholarship. The firm’s staff has chosen law student Krisly Zamor as the 2016 Scholarship Winner. According to the Clark Law Office team, Zamor was selected for the scholarship because of her strong academic achievement and her track record of service to the community.
Paul Clark, a representative of The Clark Law Office, stated “We are so proud of Krisly and all that she has accomplished in her tenure as a law student. Her academic performance at Fordham University School of Law indicates that she is both talented and motivated. However, it was more than just her GPA that moved us to select her as the winner. Krisly’s essay was so inspiring, detailing her intent to pursue a career in law as a way to help provide stability and hope to people who may not otherwise have it. She has demonstrated her willingness to serve though her participation in ‘Elect Her’, which is a national initiative addressing the under-representation of women in public service, as well as being a part of the Educational Opportunity Program.”
Since 2014, Clark Law firm has been rewarding one recipient per year with a $1,000 scholarship to assist them in covering their educational costs. The firm requires that scholarship applicants be currently enrolled in law school with a GPA of at least 3.0. A 600 to 1200-word essay, digital picture, and official transcripts must be submitted with the online application by the July deadline each year. The firm has already made scholarship plans for next year, with applications due on July 15th, 2017 and a winner announcement planned for August 15th.
