LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / September 12, 2016 / Assaf Ben Shetrit, a filmmaker whose short film “No Expectations” was accepted to Cannes Festival Short Film Corner, recently unveiled his latest movie project, Elements of Matter. The script, which was written as an absurdist comedy, chronicles the funny adventures of a famous actress who experiences a nervous breakdown and asks a complete stranger to pretend to be her boyfriend for the holidays.

According to Shetrit and his team, the Elements of Matter project is already underway. Shetrit finished the script during his travels in France and ended up enlisting the help of an award-winning production company, producer, cinematographer, and talented cast. The filmmaker’s last short films were accepted to prestigious film festivals, won highly regarded praise, and received distribution deals.

Earlier this year, the crew began shooting in Palm Springs, leaving them with some beautiful footage, so Shetrit is now seeking the funds to finish Elements of Matter and bring Elements of Matter to the big screen. The team intends to raise enough money to edit, color correct, and fix the audio of the film.
