Attorney Craig Beling Recives Award for Humanitarian Work

AUBURN, CA / ACCESSWIRE / September 12, 2016 / Craig Beling attorney is about to receive recognition in the highest form from the Youth Association of the Blind. The reason that this California-based attorney is receiving this recognition is for his involvement with Village Care International.

Village Care International is an organization that “empowers” people in Africa so that they can make the best out of the resources that they have instead of accepting aid from other entities. The logic of the organization is to defy the “traditional” practice of sending money to Africans and use a new “radical” system that includes sending all of the money to the program facilitators so that they can instruct the Africans on how to break the bondage of poverty using their limited and sometimes nonexistent resources.

Donations that people send to VCI go to the program facilitators so that they can have a place to live while they school the Africans on how to make do without money.

VCI offers several programs such as the OPOS program, which teaches Africans to develop their own plans of rebuilding their communities. Beling will receive the award for his affiliation with VCI very soon.
