Billings, United States – September 28, 2016 /PressCable/ —

Whether going to work or out to a club, every event has a uniform. Shirts of Armour is here to produce the uniform for everyday life, displaying shockingly realistic armor graphics on a casual T-shirt.

September 27, 2016 – Since 1300 BC, humans have been using armour to protect from physical assaults. But more than physical defense, armour provided warriors the courage to face challenges, knowing that they could survive relatively unscathed. Today armour is most commonly seen in realistic fighting games, MMO, and fantasy games. To help bring this fantastic aesthetic back into reality is Shirts of Armour, Back the Kickstarter to own one of their two most popular designs: Blood Fang or King’s Lament. With these shirts anyone can suit up for everyday life.

Shirts of Armour allows the same courageous and symbolic protection that came with medieval armour, without the rigidness, weight, and formality. Additionally, the shirts are made to be highly realistic, incorporating high-end innovative production along with brilliant design. The shirts are made with the process known as sublimation printing, the same process used to colour metal pendants with ink. By directly infusing the ink into the material, Shirts of Armour is able to achieve an appearance of surrealism. In this way the all-too-common heat transfer printing method, which tends to fade, crack, and distort designs, is avoided.

The designs for these shirts are inspired by popular MMO’s and fantasy games. Better yet, the company’s founder, Steven Bents, has a wife who has played a text-based role playing game for years. Playing this game has provided Steve with additional insight into providing descriptions for the shirts, which were then taken and made into reality. Sadly, there is one thing holding Shirts of Amour back from becoming wildly popular: cost.

Currently overseas production is far too rigid, requiring hundreds of orders at a time to be viable. And production in USA, as Shirts of Armour would prefer, is far too expensive. To cut out to middle man and allow production at home at a reasonable cost, Shirts of Amour has launched a Kickstarter, funding the purchase of their own sublimation printer and equipment. Backers will receive shirts of their own at an extremely discounted rate. But monetary donations are by no means the only way to show support, simply spreading news of the campaign is greatly appreciated. With the help of readers, Shirts of Armour can give everyone the protection they need from everyday woes.

About Shirts of Armour

Shirts of Armour was conceived by Steven Bents after reflecting with a friend on how widespread uniforms had become. Weeks later Shirts of Armour was well on its way into reality. Today Shirts of Armour aims to reduce its prices and increase its variety through producing here in the USA.
