1 Cup Brown Sugar

1/2 Lemon (Juiced) 1/4 Cup Coconut Oil* *Generally, the benefits of Coconut Oil are preferred for dry skin, but Grape Seed Oil can be used as a substitute.

Directions:

Put brown sugar and coconut oil in a microwave safe container. Microwave in 15 second intervals until coconut oil is completely melted. Once oil is melted, grab a spoon and stir sugar and oil together until mixed completely. Squeeze lemon juice into concoction and stir again until completely mixed.

One batch generally lasts about two weeks, depending on how heavily it is applied. Transfer the sugar scrub into a clean, airtight container and enjoy. Scooping with a disposable popsicle stick is great for sanitary reasons, but a spoon works just as well. Apply in the shower to wet skin, and remember a little goes a long way!
