Status Transportation Strikes Deal with ACEMCO
November 14, 2016 – – Status Transportation is now an official dealer of the reputed ACEMCO Auxiliary Power Units that have the ability to save up to 12% of fuel consumptions per year.
With a deal that could also see the company’s owner operators earn much more commissions, the new partnership between Status Transportation and ACEMCO will also have more benefits than earlier anticipated. Besides the fuel savings they are known for, Acemco’s APU units could also decrease trucks’ maintenance costs to a great extent. Still, the units the company’s trailer and truck repair department will be selling have some of the biggest returns on investments companies can get.
The company’s founder recently said, “The company’s firm stand against truck idling was the biggest driving force of them striking the deal with ACEMCO. The need to have well serviced trucks on the road for the better part of the year was another reason that fueled the need to join forces with one of the best manufacturers of truck and trailer maintenance equipment.”
“This deal with ACEMCO is a major milestone in our efforts to beat truck idling and provide better returns on Investments to our owner operators,” Mr. Erik Chavez noted.
“As it will soon be noted by our partners and drivers, the new units we shall install in all our trucks have the abilities to keep the trucks’ air conditioning great, reduce engine wear and better your ROI,” Erik added.
The new deal with ACEMCO however goes beyond reducing maintenance costs among trucks. The anti-idling laws that Status Transportation has always been firm to implement could see owner operators make the best of the currently low diesel prices. This is because it is the fuel costs that have always made the difference when it comes to the ROIs. When added with ACEMCO’S other maintenance products such as non-clogging diesel particulate filters, owner operators and Status Transportation could all benefit greatly.
“This partnership is a win-win situation for all of us here at Transportation,” said the company’s spokesperson, Mr. Tom Boyd.
“When you look at the benefits ACEMCO APUs will add to our trucks for instance, we could all go back home smiling. You will also not need to take your truck for maintenance as frequent as you could have with other maintenance tools, and you will also not need to buy supplementary batteries to help your cool your truck’s cabin.” Boyd added.
While doing Status Transportation reviews, Mr. Griffin said that “The company aims at coming with better mechanisms to help their owner operators experience better driving experiences without getting fined in the many states that prohibit idling.” To achieve this, Status transportation allows their drivers to decide when they need to take time off instead of risk fines and tiredness while on job. Drivers who also don’t wish to spend hours and days on roads could also be allowed to choose the types of freights and routes they wish to be operating on. After all, the company says, the goal is to ensure Status Transportation is paying its role in environmental regulation and in helping their owner operators reap the most they can from their efforts.
