Epithelial cells are existed in tightly packed layers. And it is the most prolific tissue type found in human and animal body. The primary function of epithelial cells is to provide a protective layer for the organ. And some other functions include secretion, selective absorption, protection and detection of sensation and filtration.
Creative Bioarray launched three kinds of epithelial cells products, including human retinal pigment epithelial cells, human colonic epithelial cells and human lens epithelial cells (HLEpiC).
Human retinal pigment epithelial cells
Human retinal pigment epithelial cells (HRPEpiC) are isolated from human retina. They are cryopreserved at passage one and delivered frozen to customers. Their main feature is to utilize immunofluorescent method with antibodies to cytokeratin-18, cytokeratin-19 and fibronectin. HRPEpiC are negative for HIV-1, HBV, HCV, mycoplasma, yeast, bacteria and fungi. Through nearly one-year research, Creative Bioarray finally can offer HRPEpiC to customers with affordable prices.
Human colonic epithelial cells
The colorectum is a primary organ for both malignant and nonmalignant diseases. Cells on the colonic mucosal surface form an important mechanical barrier, which can be used to separate the host’s internal milieu from the external environment. In addition to this significant role, epithelial cells can also act as an integral component of the mucosal immune system. HCoEpiC, isolated from human colonic tissue, can process and present antigens to T cells in vitro.
Human lens epithelial cells (HLEpiC)
Isolated from human lens, HLEpiC nearly share the same features with HRPEpiC. And during developing these products, scientists spent a lot of time in testing their functions and features in order to serve customers better.
“developing new products is the main task for scientists in Creative Bioarray. Although there will be all kinds of challenges and difficulties, we are always holding our faith to develop quality-oriented products.” said Dr. Bruce, senior scientist in Creative Bioarray.
Staffed with experienced and professional scientists, Creative Bioarray has become an outstanding manufacturer and supplier in the life science field.
