The Webinar will Feature Live Conversation with Two Federal Trade Commission Experts

ASPEN, CO / ACCESSWIRE / December 13, 2016 / Nate Lind, the founder of ADSUM, is pleased to announce a free webinar, airing on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 1 p.m. Pacific/4 p.m. Eastern time. This will be a live conversation with two Federal Trade Commission law experts.

This webinar features a live conversation with William I. Rothbard and Theodore F. Monroe in a discussion about the regulatory risks of non-transparent merchant processing practices (“credit card laundering” in FTC terms) and how to mitigate them. Attendees will walk away with a clear understanding on what the FTC defines as “credit card laundering” and learn about the latest rules and actions of credit card associations punishing and preventing this practice.

“We founded ADSUM to address the needs of advertisers specifically, which are often overlooked,” the spokesperson said. “We are very excited to continue working directly with advertisers through this web series.”

Rothbard is an experienced FTC advertising lawyer. He counsels direct response advertisers, online merchants and affiliate marketers. He has litigated and negotiated settlements in numerous FTC and state Attorney General cases, and he and represents clients in federal and state deceptive advertising investigations and enforcement actions.

Monroe is the principal and founder of the Law Offices of Theodore F. Monroe. His practice focuses on litigation and counsel in a variety of areas, including FTC enforcement. He has represented merchants in different capacities, including recovering funds from processors, structuring processing relationships in compliance with card brand requirements, and drafting and negotiating contracts involving Payment Facilitators and ISOs.

The webinar will also include a question and answer session at the end.

Be sure to register ahead of time as space is limited.
