ProtoLeap Starter, a Platform that Allows Anybody to Learn about Electronic Design, is Officially Launched

ProtoLeap Starter is Ideal for Electronics Hobbyists, Students and Professionals

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / December 15, 2016 / Mazi Hosseini, an inventor with over 20 years of experience in electronic design and development, is pleased to announce the launch of the innovative ProtoLeap Starter, an open source platform that helps everyone learn electronics while also simplifying any designer’s life in prototyping.

As a spokesperson for the ProtoLeap Project noted, many people are interested in gaining a greater understanding of building electronics and improving upon designs.

“While not everyone has the option of taking coursework that gives in depth instructions, there is still an opportunity to build upon your understanding and engage with other electronics hobbyists, students, and professionals,” the spokesperson said.

ProtoLeap Starter is an open source platform that allows anyone to learn about electronic design, share their projects and ideas, and gain inspiration. It is designed for both hobbyists looking to start new projects and for students and professionals searching for another way to practice and explore prototyping.

“ProtoLeap Starter was designed as an all-in-one solution for any hardware/software design,” the spokesperson said, adding that it will come with two selectable power rails, USB connection, and will allow users to utilize surface mount parts which they otherwise could not with a breadboard.

With ProtoLeap, hobbyists, professionals, students, and anyone interested in hardware/software design projects will have a network where they can share and access codes, schematics, and bills of materials with all information openly available to the public.

Even though the ProtoLeap was only recently announced, the spokesperson said it is already creating quite a serious buzz in the electronics and learning spaces.

In order to help pay for the production and marketing costs associated with the ProtoLeap Starter, Hosseini and his team have launched a fundraiser on Kickstarter. There, they hope to raise $3,807 through crowdfunding.

“Our team was all once students, who became hobbyists, and now are professional electronic designers,” Hosseini said.

“We will keep working on new open source projects for years to come. We invite everybody to join us and start creating your design ideas.”
