Coeur Blue, a Network of Salting Stores that will Employ People with Mental Illness, is Officially Announced

Coeur Blue is the Brainchild of Jose Antonio Albaladejo, an Entrepreneur who has Been Diagnosed with Bipolar and Schizoaffective Disorders

As a spokesperson for Coeur Blue noted, Albaladejo is no stranger to the challenges of dealing with mental illness and still living a full life.

“This incredible entrepreneur holds multiple degrees and has worked in various fields despite having been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizoaffective disorder,” the spokesperson said, adding that through treatment and determination, Albaladejo has overcome many of the challenges of dealing with mental disability and is now on a mission to give others the same independence.

“His goal is to open Coeur Blue, a network of salting stores, and employ others with mental illnesses.”

Coeur Blue will give those diagnosed with mental illness – people who are often stigmatized and discriminated against – a second chance. The small shops will have flexible hours and will be located in populated areas with a healthy amount of traffic. The enterprising social network of manageable salting stores will be open six days a week.

“The idea is to initially open stores all over the Spanish Mediterranean coastline and export to other countries with a high consumption of salted fish,” the spokesperson noted.

In order to raise needed money to help meet his goal of launching Coeur Blue and assist those with mental illness with finding fulfilling work, Albaladejo recently launched a fundraiser on Indiegogo. There, he hopes to raise 50,000 Euros through crowdfunding and help people who, like him, live every day with mental illness.

Backers will help create a number of jobs for those suffering from mental illness, giving them a chance to find an occupation and enjoy the feeling of independence that accompanies.
