Following the success of her travel journals for motorhome, camper and caravan enthusiasts, Wood decided to create a range of travel journals/diaries especially for classic vehicle owners. The first in the series, “Classic Sports Car Travel Journal” aims to encourage others to record their adventures, holidays and road trips by classic car. Who could resist, when every holiday, outing and road trip is special to those making it?

Each travel journal provides space and prompts to record highlights, routes taken, mileage, fuel consumption, food/dining, places visited and what to remember for next time. Readers will likely find a particular interest in the A-Z index feature. No more arguments over what readers did or when and where they stayed. When asked why she created the book, Wood said: “I’ve always kept diaries/journals and love that sense of anticipation and excitement at having a special place to record thoughts and experiences. Then, my husband restored the most beautiful classic car – a real head-turner. Taking her to an event or out for a drive is an incredible treat. Who wouldn’t want to treasure every second? I designed the journal to be useful but easy for people to fill in – a mix of prompts and space to write freely.”

Wood has hopes that the book will encourage others to write about their adventures and preserve their own happy memories.
