The New York Based Healthcare Software Company is Developing Cloud-Based Mobile Technologies to Deliver Critical Patient Information to First Responders

SYRACUSE, NY / ACCESSWIRE / January 5, 2017 / LifeSource Health, Inc., a Syracuse, New York based healthcare software company announced that it has raised over $350,000 in an oversubscribed seed round led by angel and family office investors. The team from LifeSource Health shares that the seed round was quickly oversubscribed by almost 50% and that this first round of funding will help the company to begin pilot trials of its At The Scene™ platform in New York and Georgia.

LifeSource Health’s At The Scene is a cloud-based mobile platform that connects first responders to critical patient information in real-time. The service gives first responders the ability to maximize their time with the patient when every second matters. At its core is an effective mobile interface that quickly provides the patients allergies, current medications, recent hospital visits, next of kin, and more. The service also provides backend management and reporting tools.

Medical misinformation errors lead to over 240,000 deaths and hundreds of millions of dollars in unnecessary spending a year in the United States, according to a Johns Hopkins University study. Another recent study also showed that 87% percent of emergency medical technicians and paramedics surveyed agree that the lack of accurate information leads to a lower quality of patient care.
