Behavioral Crossroads Recovery Featured On Road to Recovery TV Series
January 05, 2017 – – December 11, 2016 –Behavioral Crossroads Mental Health & Substance Abuse Outpatient Services is one source of help and support for individuals in New Jersey that face substance abuse or mental health issues. The newest service offered by Behavioral Crossroads, a rehabilitation program for members of the Orthodox Jewish faith, caught the attention of Michael Deleon, host of Road to Recovery on SNJ Today News, who interviewed a Behavioral Crossroads staff members and spiritual guide for the project: Rabbi Avi Richler.
The interview focuses on the issue of addiction and rehabilitation within the Orthodox community, with a lot of attention put on the role of support within the community itself, as well as faith in proper rehabilitation and recovery. Rabbi Richler’s work within the substance abuse rehabilitation movement, including his work with Behavioral Crossroads on the new rehabilitation program and his work within the Jewish community are also discussed.
The interview shows the commitment and insight Rabbi Avi Richler brings to both Behavioral Crossroads and his community, illustrating the hard work of Behavioral Crossroad’s staff members.
Yet another core principle of the extensive and first class programs available to individuals throughout Southern New Jersey at Behavioral Crossroads is a commitment to treating patients with the respect they deserve. Each patient at the recovery center is listened to and treated as an equal. There are no blanket prescriptions or writing off of individual needs, instead treatment and recovery options are formulated around the individual’s situation and requirements, including religious or cultural needs.
The new rehabilitation program for members of the Orthodox Jewish Community that was featured in the Road to Rehabilitation interview exemplifies the specialized approach, as treatment and lodging in the new program has been catered to the cultural and religious needs of the incoming patients. Respecting patients and their needs has created an atmosphere of healing that has allowed Behavioral Crossroads Mental Health & Substance Abuse Outpatient Services to become the leader of substance abuse and mental health treatment in New Jersey.
