During the Recent Interview, Asimos Discussed What He Especially Enjoys about Traveling, One of his Favorite Vacation Destinations and Much More

LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / February 6, 2017 / Michael Asimos, a wine importer/exporter and wholesaler with a passion for traveling, is pleased to announce that he was recently featured in an interview in Rookstool Travel.

As Asimos noted in the interview, his love of wine combined with his desire to truly learn all he could about everything wine has to offer inspired him to begin traveling the world. While he is very knowledgeable about the wines that are grown in the Pacific Northwest, he also wants to understand the differences in wines that are made from the many types of grapes that are grown elsewhere.

When asked to name his favorite thing about traveling, Asimos said it is difficult to select only one. In addition to the amazing wines he has sampled during this travels, Asimos said he also enjoys meeting a variety of different and interesting people along the way.

“I have also learned to appreciate things, like those subtle changes in the weather or enriching soil practices,” he said.

“I did not care about how growers treated our earth before I took an active interest in wine, but now I know that all this matters.”

As for the most amazing place he has ever been to, Asimos said he truly sees beauty everywhere.

“I do not equate those moments directly to the places I have visited. I have just been lucky enough to experience beautiful moments,” he said, adding that while it is challenging to name one favorite vacation destination, there are definitely plenty of places he would like to revisit, including Italy and Portland.

With so much traveling under his belt, Asimos was asked to describe his packing style. He replied that while he used to “pack up the whole house,” he has learned to cut back on that habit because it is difficult to travel with a lot of luggage.

As for his future trips, Asimos said he actually chooses his next adventure at random.

“I have a glass jar on my desk that is filled with sheets of paper. On each sheet of paper, I have written down a different country with good wine, of course. I just stick my hand in and go wherever the paper leads,” he said.

“Choosing in this manner is much more exciting to me.”
