Risk Based Security Appoints Sven Krewitt To VulnDB Research Team

Risk Based Security, Inc. today announced that it has appointed Mr. Sven Krewitt as a Senior Vulnerability Researcher. The appointment of Mr. Krewitt, a very talented and experienced vulnerability analyst, signals the company’s continued expansion of its vulnerability research team and dedication to providing the highest quality and most comprehensive vulnerability data in the market.

Based in Cologne, Germany, Krewitt brings 11 years of experience as a security specialist and vulnerability researcher. He has previously worked as a Senior Security Specialist at Secunia, where he excelled in vulnerability analysis, quality assurance, and training of new employees. Krewitt’s latest position was at TÜF Rheinland i-sec GmbH as a Senior Security Analyst. Here he was responsible for performing pen-tests and IT security assessments as well as leading the Competence Center Security Engineering.
