LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / February 20, 2017 / Ryan Wood, an industrial engineer, is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of the innovative Cycle QMX Urban Assault electric bike. The Urban Assault Quadra Motocross (QMX) will be fully customizable, handle all terrains and allow riders to enjoy cruising in a new way.

As a spokesperson for the QMX noted, the bike was created by Wood, a young man who dreamed of having a vehicle that would allow him to easily commute or enjoy some recreational fun following a nearly-fatal accident.

“Building the bike became a passion, and an award-winning first design was created while Ryan was still in college to become an engineer,” the spokesperson said, adding that what started out as a gas-powered combination of bicycles and donated parts morphed into sleek, strong, and stable electric quadricycle with incredible power.

The Urban Assault QMX uses an 800W 36V electric engine and mechanical disc brakes for superior stopping power. A large seat accompanied by front and rear suspension make for a comfortable ride over all terrains. Oversized tires allow the bike to take on sand, snow, and grass with ease while navigating the city.

The chromoly steel frame gives the bike a sturdy structure and will be available in International Orange, Pearl White, and Satin Black. Anyone will be able to enjoy the smooth and stable ride that the QMX provides, and experience riding over difficult terrains in a new and luxurious way.

In order to help pay for the production costs and development of the manufacturing process of the QMX, Wood recently launched a fundraiser on Kickstarter. There, he and his professional and talented team hope to raise $50,000 through crowdfunding, and bring this revolutionary vehicle to the market as soon as possible.
