As a company spokesperson noted, You = Me is a new clothing and accessories line that brings together all races, religions, cultures, and genders with its message. The brand’s logo simplifies the message that the founders hope to convey: a reminder of unity and one humanity.

“You = Me is a humanity project using fashion as a daily reminder of unity and human rights,” the spokesperson said, adding that the apparel is 100 percent cotton and made in the USA.

“The pieces, which include t-shirts and sweatshirts, act as a way for those with the same hopes to display the message openly and invite others to embrace the same ideas.”

The team of social entrepreneurs behind the line, Cindy, Ken, and Rick, are hoping to start production of even more accessories immediately. Soon, the distinct logo will be seen on caps, gym bags, and more.

“We have been working on this project for over 2 years with the help of family and friends and the University Law school for our trademark along with the business school for our business set up,” Cindy said.

In order to help pay for the production costs associated with making the clothing and launching their online business, Cindy, Ken and Rick recently launched a fundraiser on Kickstarter. There, they hope to raise $28,126 through crowdfunding.

“They’re now looking to the community to help them get started, offering a chance to pre-order You = Me gear and start spreading messages in favor of global good,” the spokesperson said.
