Debby McKinney Announces March Meet Up Date Of Emerald Coast Women In Business

March 06, 2017 – – The Emerald Coast Woman in Business (ECWIB) Connections has announced the date and place for their March meetup. The event will take place on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at First City Bank, 363 U.S. Highway 98, Destin, FL thanks to Irina Roberts. Co-sponsors for this event will be Arianne Lemire of GH Houses, and Susan Fritz of Fritz Financial and Robin Horn of N.Fairy Apothacary. Debby McKinney, the host of the event, says: “As co-founder of Emerald Coast Women in Business, I never cease to get excited by our monthly meet ups. Each event gives women an opportunity to network and connect with each other, learn from each other, and grow in whatever industry or enterprise they are involved. We’re reallly excited about our March meeting.”

The event is suitable for those working for businesses, entrepreneurs, those from the nonprofit sector, those looking for work, etc. Additionally, the event is industry inclusive rather than exclusive. This means anyone, from any niche, is welcome to attend, create new connections, and learn from others.

ECWIB organizes meetings every month. The venue is typically a women owned or managed business in the Destin/Miramar Beach/Bluewater Bay areas or a business that would benefit women. Three co-sponsors are encouraged to step forward each month, leaving one more space available for the March event. Co-sponsors work with the Host to provide light refreshments for the attendees. In exchange, each will receive exposure on the flyers, social media, and more; and 3-5 min at the event to talk about her business. Each will also be able to set up a small display at the event showcasing her business.

The events have all been incredibly well-attended in the past, and Debby McKinney has received a lot of positive feedback. The event provides people with the opportunity to take part in facilitated networking activities, which have been shown to be very beneficial. Door prizes are also provided, and participants are encouraged to bring their own. In so doing, they can gain further exposure for their business, and grow as women.
