The Counseling Center of Illinois, an organization comprised of dedicated professionals who strive to provide quality services and programs to individuals suffering from a myriad of issues including alcohol/drug abuse, domestic violence and more, announced the release of its Drug and Alcohol Safety Newsletter and DUI eBook. The newsletter is meant to target substance abuse professionals in the field, while the eBook represents a resource for drivers attempting to get their driver’s license back after revocation due to a DUI arrest.

“Our Drug and Alcohol Safety Newsletter is available on a monthly basis and caters to substance abuse professionals working tirelessly in their field,” explains the Counseling Center of Illinois’ Anna Jankowska. “The other new resource we’ve made available, our intuitive DUI eBook, was designed as a simple guide for drivers and has been aptly named How Can You Get Your Driver’s License Back After Revocation Due to DUI Arrest?

“Both of these offerings from the Counseling Center of Illinois are poised to not only benefit those who seek our help, but also strengthen our already high success rate in assisting those in the midst of the license reinstatement process.”

The April 2017 issue of the Drug and Alcohol Safety Newsletter features topics that include “DOT Proposes Adding Four Opioids to Drug Testing Panel,” “Driver in High-Speed Des Plaines Crash Avoided License Revocation,” “State Marijuana Laws are Changing but Employer Attitudes Aren’t,” “How to Get Your Driver’s License Back After Revocation” and “SAP-DOT PROCESS – Q&A.”

As a free guide that describes in detail all the procedures that need to be followed in order to have a driver’s license reinstated, the Counseling Center of Illinois’ DUI eBook covers the process of drug and alcohol evaluation, all documents that are required, preparation for the administrative hearing, restricted driving permit requirements and denial procedure. Additionally, it has been prepared based on Counseling Center staff experience working with drivers in the state of Illinois who lost their driving privileges due to DUI arrests.

“We are proud to say that the Counseling Center of Illinois has successfully helped a plethora of clients regain their driving privileges,” concludes Anna Jankowska.
