Restoration Of Greensboro Announces Suboxone Treatment For Opioid Addiction
April 14, 2017 – – Restoration of Greensboro, the Greensboro, North Carolina location of My Restoration Clinic, has recently announced that they are now providing suboxone treatment for those who are facing opioid dependency. The clinic has two locations in North Carolina, Greensboro which offers treatment for opioid addiction and a second location in Murphy that provides pain management services for patients.
Randy Long, MD, commented on the use of suboxone for opioid addiction stating, “We believe in a collaboration of treatments that includes suboxone as well as counseling and other treatments to ensure a completely successful rehabilitation.”
The suboxone treatment clinic has professional and qualified substance abuse counselors as well as medical providers, psychologists and psychiatrists that Dr. Long states work together to help those addicted to opioids overcome those addictions and live fuller and healthier lives. The doctor states that opioid addiction is no less serious than any other medical condition and should be treated as such. He states that their combination of therapies have proven very successful for patients in the past and urges those with these issues to contact the clinic to learn more.
Restoration of Greensboro also provides pain management therapy through a number of treatments in their Murphy location. “We want to treat the whole individual,” says Dr. Long. “We use a combination of successful therapies in both of our locations. These are therapies that have worked on patients in the past and we feel that they offer the best chance of success in opioid recovery or pain management.”
Dr. Long states that the use of suboxone is a medication assisted therapy solution that has proven to be very successful over the years. He states that suboxone as well as zubsolv are important components of their therapy programs and states that these medications offer a much higher success rate for opioid use disorder than going cold turkey, in which case more than 85 percent of patients typically relapse.
Those who are battling opioid addiction or have a loved one who has become dependent on the use of these pain medications can reach out to the clinic for more information. Those interested can also get driving directions to the Greensboro, NC location here.
