Miller hopes upon graduating from Wofford to attend Duke University to obtain his Doctor of Medicine degree, after which he intends to pursue research before entering into clinical practice. The care that Miller received from his endocrinologist has inspired him to study to become a doctor so that he can someday serve others in similarly important ways.

Named a National Merit Commended Scholar, as well as an AP Scholar with Honor, Miller has been active in tutoring other students, focusing especially on Spanish. Outside of school, Miller enjoys volunteering at his church, whether for singing specials or teaching discipleship.
