TJD Enterprises Granted Patent for Internet of Things (IoT) Connectivity

Patent Details Innovative Process for IoT Connectivity to Task Execution

RALEIGH, NC / ACCESSWIRE / July 25, 2017 / TJD Enterprises, Inc., a Research Triangle Park based technology company, announces that it has been granted a patent by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Officer for Internet of Things connectivity. The patent, which was granted in June 2017, describes a system and method for connecting IoT devices via a variety of communications protocols to a clearinghouse where messages are analyzed to determine further processing.

The granted patent, US 9,674,124, is entitled, “Methods and Systems for Dynamic Execution of Actions in Response to Communications Events of One or More Communications Protocols.”

According to Gartner, Inc., the number of connected devices in use worldwide will surpass the 20 billion mark by 2020. This patent allows for a system that better connects and processes messages coming from these devices. The impact of this patent spans all industries – from manufacturing, to leisure, to transportation.
