2017 Back To School Charity Drive For Fort Bend County Students, K-12

Crossover Athletics plan to make this 2017 back to school charity drive their biggest one to date. With providing free haircuts and school supplies for students, Crossover’s goal is to have them prepared for their 1st day back.

Crossover Athletics is hosting its 7th Annual Back to School Drive for the Fort Bend County students, grades K-12. This event is taking place on August 20th from 2pm – 6pm CST, at their sports facility located at 815 Summer Park Drive, Stafford, TX 77477. This Back to School Drive is being held to help the community with making sure as many students as possible, are ready for their first day back to school, with backpacks, school supplies, and haircuts.

Crossover Athletics has been receiving donations in the form of school supplies for the past month, and are still accepting more. Their goal is to make sure every single student who arrives on August 20th, walks away with more than enough school supplies. If anyone interested would like to donate before August 20th, Crossover Athletics asks to be reached by phone or email, so they can arrange a delivery or pickup location. To help students in the preparation of their first day back to school, there will be free haircuts & hairstyles given to students, free backpacks, as well as free school supplies. The entertainment provided will be an anti-bully guest speaker, a basketball tournament, a bounce house, step show, food, music, and much more.

Barefield, says that “without these organizations stepping up, this entire event would not have been possible.” Crossover Athletics was founded in 2004 and provides training for athletes of all ages in their respective sports.
