Mermaids Of Earth Coffee-Table Book Featured On Kickstarter

August 28, 2017 – – The fundraiser project for “Mermaids Of Earth”, a 200-page coffee-table book, featuring color photos of mermaid statues around the world, is being featured on Kickstarter. The project has just launched. Kickstarter has declared the project-launch period between August 20th and September 5th as “Projects Of Earth” in honor of the Voyager space probes, which were launched at this time 40 years ago. Kickstarter projects being launched during this window are being given special coverage to celebrate that fantastic human achievement.

“This was an unexpected coincidence,” says Mermaids project creator, Philip Jepsen. “I’ve been working on the Mermaids Of Earth book for several years, it’s very much a passion project, and it has everything to do with the Of Earth theme Kickstarter is promoting. When I saw that, and realized the timing, I knew I needed to delay my launch a few days to be part of this celebration.”

The Kickstarter campaign for “Mermaids Of Earth” is now live, and runs through Sunday, September 17th. If funding goals are met the book will be available well before the holiday season. The goal of the “Mermaids Of Earth” project is to raise funding for the printing of a set volume of books in order to go into distribution. The purpose of the book is to showcase mermaid statues, lore and activities from around the world. There is currently no other book available which captures photographic and informational record of mermaid statues.

“It’s hard to believe, when you consider the popularity of the subject,” says Mister Jepsen. “When I realized no one had gathered info on these incredible statues, I made it my mission to do so. This book is the culmination of years of dedicated research, travel and documentation. Anyone who loves mermaids, and even those who don’t, will be fascinated with just how many statues there are worldwide, and the wide variety of locales in which you can find them.”

“Mermaids Of Earth” is a 12 inch by 12 inch hardcover coffee-table book, 200 pages in length. It has hundreds of full-color photos of mermaid statues from around the world. The book contains information on each statue and information on the history and legends of mermaids in different cultures.
