Pizza Box Packaging And Shoes That Will Order A Pizza

August 29, 2017 – – When March Madness and a major pizza company came calling for a very unique packaging design, Earth Enterprise delivered. The company says it’s no wonder an award-winning ad agency would approach them for a packaging solution. According to Dan Radlauer, VP of Sales at Earth Enterprise, who designed the packaging, “We were hired to design a folding carton that had the appearance of a Pizza box, and would hold a pair of sneakers. These “smart sneakers” have built-in technology for ordering a pizza directly from the shoe. We designed, processed and delivered the product within 10 days.”

The packaging, which featured a “grip tape top”, Tournament logo, and the pizza company branding printed on the carton, also housed the “pie-top” sneakers (play of hi-top basketball shoes), and was launched in time for March Madness and heavily promoted in tandem with television advertising. All 64 teams in the tournament received the custom designed pie-top boxes. Pizza orders were made directly from the shoes and delivered promptly.
