Recently at the Calgary Marathon – Howard was part of 115 Linked runners that broke a world record and raised more than $160,000 in funds towards Mitochondrial research. Howard says, “A big part of what he does … involves being active in the community”.

Brian Howard doesn’t hide the fact that he is driven to succeed and that ambitious nature has allowed him to find success mixing business with pleasure. His most recent triathlon goal was ITU Worlds in Penticton on Aug 27 … race in Canadian Colors.

Howard says he does a lot of business with the triathlon community. “Eventually they need to buy or sell a house and they contact him” says Howard.

Recently interviewed by Carpe Diem Sports Network Bryon reveals how he structures his day for success in both business and home life. Bryon structures his day to squeeze every drop of life that he can. He’s up before 5am reads, meditates, works out and is in the office before 8am, time blocks his daily activities and is usually home shortly after 7pm and ends the day at 10pm Monday to Friday.

Its not all work and sports, Howard says “he loves to be hanging out with his wife and cooking a nice meal and a glass of wine that’s fun”. Other fun things for him would be getting out going kite surfing on a great wind and or getting out and really enjoying either alpine skiing, cross-country skiing or the backcountry into the mountains.

More recently, Howard has been having fun kite surfing and competed in Nationals at Kite Klash in Squamish for Canada’s 150 Birthday celebration.

Having lived in Calgary for almost two decades, Bryon Howard feels deeply rooted in the area. Therefore, he is proud to be a local and honored to offer area knowledge.
