CheckThem Announces the Release of its Hacked Email Verification System

The New Product, which is Available at No Cost, Allows People to Learn if their Email has been Part of Any Publicly Made Breaches

LA JOLLA, CA / ACCESSWIRE / September 4, 2017 / The founders of CheckThem, a website that is devoted to helping people get immediate information on others including arrest records, phone number and address history and more, are pleased to announce that they have just released their hacked email verification system.

To learn more about this free new system and how it works—or to check an email address to see if it has been hacked—please visit https://www.checkthem.com/hacked/.

As a spokesperson for CheckThem noted, the new and no-cost hacked email verification system cross references the submitted email against an internal database and various partners to determine if that email exists in any publicly made breaches.

“It is a public service to help bring awareness to the importance of two-factor authentication and strong, non-recycled passwords,” the spokesperson noted, adding that CheckThem cannot guarantee that their information is 100 percent accurate and they always encourage people to do additional research on their own.

Using the new system is easy; people simply need to enter in their email address on the search bar on the website. No credit card or money is required, and CheckThem will not share anyone’s personal information, including the entered email address.

“Thanks to the free new system, you can find out if your e-mail addresses have been hacked, what information was stolen, and which website or company is responsible for not protecting your data,” the spokesperson noted.

In addition to the new hacked email verification system, CheckThem has also added five helpful tips to make sure that people will not be hacked in the future. For example, using a strong password is crucial—CheckThem suggests using a mix of letters, numbers and special characters and no recognizable words.

CheckThem also recommends that people use a secure email server like Google Mail or Yahoo Mail, as opposed to a personal web server or hosting company.
