William “Trey” Buckley has passed the Tennessee Bar Examination, and will join Gilbert McWherter Scott Bobbitt PLC as an Associate once he is sworn in.

Gilbert McWherter Scott Bobbitt PLC is proud to announce that William “Trey” Buckley has passed the Tennessee Bar Examination, and will be joining the Firm as an Associate once he is sworn in. Mr. Buckley passed the Bar exam on his first attempt.

About Trey Buckley
Trey Buckley recently graduated cum laude with his J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law. Prior to earning his J.D., he attended the University of Tennessee – Knoxville, where he earned a B.A. in Political Science and Communication Studies. He was a member of the Sigma Chi and Phi Alpha Delta fraternities and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars; he graduated magna cum laude. Mr. Buckley also attended the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he studied geopolitics, economics, and law and policy. Mr. Buckley is a graduate of the University School of Jackson and is the son of Bill and Ginger Buckley, both residents of Jackson, TN.
Mr. Buckley started on his legal career as a “runner” for the Gilbert Firm. While in law school, he worked as a law clerk for the Firm, served as a law clerk at the Madison Country Chancery Court, and later an intern for the United States District Court, Western District of Tennessee. Once he is officially sworn in, Mr. Buckley will be an associate at the Gilbert Firm.
