OneTeacher & YEP Phoenix Team Up For Teacher Retention Education Event
January 15, 2018 – – OneTeacher and Young Educational Professionals (YEP) Phoenix have announced that they have partnered together to launch an event to provide an opportunity for educators to network with one another and dialogue about retention and sustainability in education. OneTeacher is a leader in Title I Teacher Placement in Arizona. Their mission is to make that “perfect match” between very capable teachers and inspiring Title I schools in Arizona. They have stated that their goal in doing so is to change history and transform lives.
Erin Tobin from OneTeacher says: “We will have a panel of speakers including teachers and administrators who will share their thoughts on teacher retention and creating sustainability in the teaching profession. Bring your questions and your friends for this fun night for teachers, principals, parents, and all who are interested in education in Arizona. Appetizers will be provided.”
The teacher retention education event will take place on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM MST at Rosie McCaffrey’s Irish Pub & Restaurant in Phoenix, AZ. The event is organized as a partnership between OneTeacher and YEP – Phoenix Chapter. Erin Tobin adds: “YEP and OneTeacher have collaborated on this Retention and Sustainability in Education event. YEP’s goal is to connect tomorrow’s education leaders, and our collaboration together on this event is exciting because it is such an important topic for current as well as future education leaders in Arizona. As a volunteer-run group, YEP is always looking for new ideas, leaders, great speakers, and more members. We’re very happy to be working with them on this exciting event, and we’re looking forward to the ideas and connections that will be fostered because of it.”
Those looking to register for this event can do so through the event page, or they can search for further information through the OneTeacher website at https://www.oneteacheraz.com. Staff at OneTeacher are always looking for new Title I teachers to place, as well as for placements where there is a need for them. They have an extensive database of existing teacher resumes and have helped over one hundred teachers and schools connect with one another to find that “perfect match.” Their services and extensive networking opportunities have been greatly appreciated by the numerous people that have found highly qualified placements through them. One candidate, for instance, shares on the OneTeacher website: “I am so appreciative of the service OneTeacher provides to connect passionate teachers to high-achieving Title I schools and, most importantly, to the students who need a great school with great teachers the most.”
