Andy made the unexpected decision to leave his 25-year long career in financial trading and acquire Midwest Performance Cars to pursue his lifelong passion of all things automotive.

Cars have always ignited a sense of passion in Bizub; his first car, a 1972 Triumph Spitfire, desperately needed multiple repairs upon its purchase. However, the then 19-year-old obviously did not possess the funds for such expensive repairs. So instead, he learned to make the repairs himself, thus igniting a lifelong passion and hobby of automobile ownership and maintenance. He has since graduated from his beloved Spitfire to become a Porsche and European Automobile Expert. So when Andy foresaw the imminent sea-change in the trading markets, and the opportunity to purchase the then-floundering automotive repair shop, Midwest Performance Cars LLC, came knocking on his door, the match was obvious. Andy Bizub officially took ownership on April 1, 2014 and the rest is history. Midwest Performance Cars is now a leading European auto service specialist shop.

Andy Bizub is a firm believer that one of the most important aspects of owning and running a business is the relationships built between staff and clients. He has carried these lessons involving relationships with him throughout his entire life and now applies all the knowledge he has acquired to the operation of Midwest Performance Cars. As the contributing factor to the automotive repair shop’s success, Bizub says, “My staff and I view our work as relationship-based rather than transactional; our goal is to be completely transparent”.
