Dayton, United States – February 15, 2018 /PressCable/ —
DAYTON, OHIO Capital Health Home Care of Dayton, Ohio received a deficiency-free survey from Ohio Department of Health, making it the third consecutive Capital Health Home Care Agency to receive a deficiency-free survey.
The Division of Quality Assurance, Bureau of Community Health Care Facilities and Services is responsible for making unannounced, on-site surveys of Home Health Agencies (HHAs). Their surveyors evaluate all elements of care and services related to the health and wellbeing of patients, for compliance to federal laws and regulations.
Lisa Brown, newly appointed COO of the Capital Health Care Network, sees this and the results from other independent evaluations of Capital Health Home Care operations as a continuation of a commitment to excellence in senior care. “This is a testament to who we are and how we do things. Our Dayton location, and five other Home Care operations set the bar high, and we’re proud of the work they do for seniors and their families.”
A Commitment To Quality Of Care
Five of the six Capital Health Home Care operations are rated 4 stars or better on a Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) ranking scale. The Dublin, Ohio location received the highest possible CMS rating for quality of care. The Dayton and Ashtabula locations received CMS 5-star patient satisfaction ratings, and the Ashtabula location was named as one of the nation’s top 100 home healthcare providers by HomeCare Elite®.
Two previous deficiency-free locations were Weirton, West Virginia, and Ashtabula, Ohio.
