C. S. Lewis Institute Invites Supporters to Join in an Annual Fundraising Banquet
The Institute relies on financial support from its members and friends throughout the year and hosts an annual fellowship evening to raise funds for its discipleship ministry.

The 2018 C. S. Lewis Institute annual fundraising event will be held on Thursday, April 19, at the Fairview Park Marriott Hotel in Falls Church, VA. The dinner, located in the hotel ballroom, will take place from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm EST and feature speaker Dr. Barry Black.
Supporters of the institute can provide for a worthy cause while enjoying joyful fellowship, celebrating in Jesus’s name and learning more about the Institute’s ministry. The theme for this year’s fundraising banquet is Praying Your Way Through Life’s Challenges. Dr. Barry Black will deliver a keynote titled Experiencing the Power of Prayer in Personal and Professional Life.
Dr. Black is the 62nd chaplain of the United States Senate. He’s held that office since 2003 and is the first African American to do so; he has previous experience as a Naval chaplain. He’s also attended a variety of universities and seminaries, including Andrews University, North Carolina Central University and Eastern Baptist Seminary.
The fundraising evening will be a business attire event with regard to dress. The cost of a seat is $90 per person, and that includes a gourmet dinner. Groups or persons wishing to reserve an entire table may do so. The cost of a table is $1,500, and that includes seats for 10 guests.

Anyone who can’t attend the event but would still like to hear powerful messages from speakers associated with the institute can access podcasts via the C. S. Those include messages from speakers such as Os Guinness, Lyle Dorsett and Russell Moore on a variety of topics.
Organizations or individuals wanting to support the C. S. Lewis Institute but who can’t make it to the annual fundraising banquet can donate online, via phone or via mail. The institute accepts donations in any amount, and individuals can set up a recurring monthly donation if desired. All fundraising support goes toward the daily management of the institute and the development of disciples who can share, articulate and defend their faith.
